Automation and AI, from Nice

Automating your operations: fewer repetitive tasks, data that actually moves.

Automation is not about replacing your teams. It is about handing the system whatever does not need a human decision, so your teams can handle the rest. We map your processes, connect your tools, build what is missing, and add AI only where it produces a result you can measure.

Describe my project

What we usually find.

If several of these sound familiar, there is almost always something worth automating.

  • Spreadsheets used as a database.
  • Information travelling by email and copy-paste.
  • Several tools that do not talk to each other.
  • Manual approvals that hold up the rest of the work.
  • Information scattered around, with no reliable overview.
  • Tasks repeated every day or every week, identically.

Nine steps, in this order.

Useful automation starts with understanding the business, not with picking a tool.

  1. 01

    Understand the process

Who does what, in what order, with which information and which constraints.

  2. 02

    Map it

The real path of data and decisions, including the informal steps.

  3. 03

    Identify what can be automated

We separate what is mechanical from what needs human judgement.

  4. 04

    Integrate your tools

We connect what you already use rather than replacing everything.

  5. 05

    Build what is missing

When no off-the-shelf tool covers the need, we build the piece required.

  6. 06

    Add AI where it helps

Classifying, extracting, summarising, drafting content: only where the result beats a simple rule.

  7. 07

    Keep humans in control

Sensitive decisions go through an approval. The system prepares, a person decides.

  8. 08

    Monitor

Logs, alerts and health checks: a silent automation that breaks costs more than the manual work it replaced.

  9. 09

    Improve continuously

Real usage shows the next step worth automating. The system evolves with your business.

A means, not a promise.

Where it is relevant, we use modern automation and artificial intelligence tools. AI is added when it handles an identified task better than a fixed rule: reading a document, sorting a request, drafting a message, spotting an anomaly. It does not replace your teams and it does not make, on its own, the decisions that commit your business.

What we do not promise: that AI can absorb your operations as a whole. A process that is poorly understood stays a process that is poorly automated.

What you end up with.

Repetitive tasks are taken care of

What used to be done by hand every day now runs on rules defined with you.

Data moves

Your tools exchange information instead of having it retyped.

Your teams work where their judgement counts

Straightforward cases go through on their own; the exceptions reach the right person.

The system can evolve

Every automation is documented and monitored, so it can be changed when your business changes.

Automating operations monitoring and day-to-day actions

Tech agency · Diagnostic then build

Challenge
The operator had to log into several tools, review the statistics, decide which actions to take as they changed, check that the systems were still running, and contact users by hand.
Handled by the system
Collecting the statistics, the health checks, the actions triggered by defined rules, and the planned outreach.
What stays human
Situations that call for analysis or a decision are still handled by the operator.
Outcome
Part of the daily monitoring and follow-up work is automated. The operator can focus on the situations that need human analysis or intervention.
Technologies used
Node.js · MySQL · Jest · Docker

Where does an automation project start?

Usually with a diagnostic: we study the process concerned, identify what can be automated, and you receive a plan with an estimated budget. If the need is already clear and contained, we can go straight to a proposal.

Diagnostic

Get clear on your need, set the priorities and decide the best approach before building.

From €2,500 excl. VAT

The price depends on the scope and the complexity of the project.

  • A document separating the priority features from the ones to plan for later.
  • The points to clarify before starting the build.
  • A delivery plan and an estimated budget for what follows.

Run and evolve

Run and evolve your software once it is in production, or take over a tool you already have.

Custom quote

The price depends on your needs and the pace of change you want.

  • Monitoring, fixes and follow-up on real usage
  • New automations and integrations with your tools
  • Architecture and workflows adapted as you grow
  • Adjustments that help teams adopt the tool

All prices shown are exclusive of taxes. Applicable VAT or other taxes depend in particular on the customer’s place of establishment and tax status. Any applicable taxes or reverse-charge mechanism will be specified in the commercial proposal and invoice.

Looking to work on a tool you already have, or to automate one specific task? These engagements are reviewed and priced according to their scope.

The Run and evolve offer is never imposed: you can take delivery, run your tool on your own, then come back when a need appears. Your access stays yours either way.

The diagnostic: what do you get?

You have an idea for a piece of software, or tasks you want to simplify, but you are not sure exactly what to have built or what budget to plan for.

We study your need, your priorities and your constraints.

You receive a document explaining what to build, in what order, and with what estimated budget.

A concrete example

A fictional example to illustrate the diagnostic. It does not correspond to any client engagement.

In your company, someone has to do the following every day:

  • Log in to several pieces of software.
  • Review the figures and spot the problems.
  • Check that the tools are working.
  • Contact certain clients.
  • Record the actions taken.

You want to make this work simpler. Should you build new software? Connect the existing tools? Which tasks can be automated?

The diagnostic helps you choose before you pay for development.

What the document contains

What can be made simpler

For example: bringing the figures together on a single screen, so there is no need to open several pieces of software.

We separate the tasks that can be automated from those that still need a human decision.

What to build first

In this example, the first version might include:

What the tool would doWhat that would change for your team
Show the important figures in one placeFewer trips into several pieces of software
Flag when a tool stops respondingKnowing where to step in
Draft the messages intended for clientsReviewing and approving instead of writing everything
Record the actions carried outFinding what was done and avoiding oversights

What can wait

For example: starting by drafting the messages, then considering sending them automatically once the rules have been shown to work properly.

You then know what is useful from the start and what can be added later.

The difficulties to expect

For example: one of your tools may not allow its data to be retrieved automatically.

We flag these limits and the points still to be confirmed before work begins.

An estimated budget and the next steps

The document separates:

  • The estimated budget to build the first version.
  • The additional functions to be quoted separately.
  • The subscriptions or running costs to plan for.
  • The suggested order in which to deliver the project.

The budget depends on the need studied: no development amount is attached to this fictional example.

What does the diagnostic cover?

Studying your need and preparing the document you receive. The diagnostic starts at €2,500 excl. VAT: the price depends on the scope and the complexity of the project.

The software is not built yet. At the end of the diagnostic, you have a concrete plan to decide whether to launch the project, reduce it, postpone it, or not go ahead.

The document is yours. You keep it even if you do not entrust the development to us.

Already know exactly what needs building? The diagnostic is not compulsory: we can go straight to a development proposal.
