Privacy policy
This page describes how personal data related to the TerangaStack website (terangastack.com) is handled.
Data controller
The data controller is Jean-Louis Gallouin, a sole trader (entrepreneur individuel) operating as TerangaStack. Address: 25 avenue Joseph Giordan, 06200 Nice, France. Contact: contact@terangastack.com.
Data collected
We process the data you send us: when you email us, when you send the contact form (name, email, company or website if you give one, message and form language), or when you book a call via Calendly (name, email and the details you enter there). In addition, as with any website, the host produces technical connection logs (in particular IP address, date and time of the request, page requested, browser reported) needed to run and secure the service. Those logs are handled by the host under its own terms and are not used by TerangaStack to profile you.
Purposes
This data is used to reply to your messages, prepare a first exchange, arrange a discovery call, and then, if you wish, prepare a proposal and follow a business relationship.
Legal bases
Depending on the case, processing is based on pre-contractual steps taken at your request, on the performance of a contract when we work together, on our legitimate interest in answering a professional enquiry and following up on it, or, where it applies, on your consent.
Recipients
The data is received and used by Jean-Louis Gallouin / TerangaStack. For the site to work, it is also processed by Web3Forms, which relays the contact form, by Plausible, which provides audience statistics, by Calendly, which handles booking when you open the booking window, and by OVH, which hosts the site. No data is sold.
Transfers outside the European Union
Web3Forms and Calendly may process data outside the European Union when they are involved. According to the Web3Forms policy, the service is operated from India and relies on infrastructure that may process data in several regions. That policy presents transfers from the European Economic Area as covered by appropriate safeguards, including the standard contractual clauses set out in its data processing agreement. According to its documentation, Plausible is established in the European Union. These points reflect the policies published by these providers, as consulted in September 2026. Their own policies prevail.
Contact form
When you send the form, your browser passes the details you entered straight to Web3Forms, a third-party provider: your name, your email, the company or website you mention, your message, and the language of the form. Web3Forms then relays that content by email to contact@terangastack.com, and your email is used as the reply address. The form sets no cookie on this site and creates no account.
What Web3Forms does
Web3Forms processes the information submitted through the contact form in order to transmit it to TerangaStack. The technical processing arrangements and any retention periods applied by this provider depend on the service and its configuration. Its policy states that submission data is kept for up to three years, and that it uses spam-filtering services to which the sender’s IP address and email may be passed. Its own policy is the authoritative source on how it operates, on its sub-processors and on where it processes data.
Audience measurement
The site uses Plausible Analytics for audience statistics. According to that provider’s documentation, the service does not set cookies and does not identify visitors. TerangaStack does not send it the content of the contact form, nor the details you enter to book a call. Its own policy is the authoritative source on how it operates.
Booking a call via Calendly
When you click a booking button, TerangaStack opens a window on this site. Calendly is loaded in that window only after that action: no Calendly iframe, script or request is initiated beforehand. Once the interface is shown, Calendly manages its own technologies, cookies and privacy settings, including its consent interface where applicable. Clicking to book is not, on our side, a general acceptance of the site’s cookies. A link also lets you open Calendly in a new tab. The details you enter in Calendly are covered by its policy. TerangaStack then receives the booking details in order to prepare the call. Calendly may store and process certain data in the United States. According to Calendly’s documentation and Data Processing Addendum, transfers of data from the European Economic Area may be covered by applicable transfer mechanisms, including Standard Contractual Clauses where required.
Retention periods
Messages received by email or through the form are kept for as long as needed to handle your request and follow up on the exchange. If no business relationship follows, they are then deleted no later than three years after the last useful contact. If a contract is signed, the data needed to run the engagement and meet legal obligations is kept for the duration of the relationship, then for the applicable legal periods. Data processed by Calendly and Web3Forms is kept according to their own periods. You can ask for a message to be deleted at any time.
Cookies
The TerangaStack website does not set audience-measurement cookies. The contact form sets none. According to its documentation, Plausible does not set cookies either. Calendly is loaded only if you open the booking window; that provider may then set its own cookies and show its own consent interface. Their use is covered by its policy.
Your rights
Under the GDPR, you can request access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, objection, and data portability where that right applies, by writing to contact@terangastack.com. Where processing relies on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before that withdrawal.
Complaint to a supervisory authority
If you consider that the processing of your data does not comply with the rules, you can also lodge a complaint with the Commission nationale de l’informatique et des libertés (CNIL), 3 place de Fontenoy, TSA 80715, 75334 Paris Cedex 07, France, or at cnil.fr. If you live in another EU country, you may also contact your local supervisory authority.
